We tried Cheddars Scratch Kitchen tonight. Well organized. Clean, friendly help. Food was plentiful with a reasonable price. Now the bad part. We each ordered soup, we got two of them, and mine came out about 10 minutes later. So I started eating my sides. Several of our sides were lukewarm, including the loaded baked potato. We told the waitress, and she said they would remake them. The new ones came out, and were also lukewarm. When whipped butter doesnt melt, you know its not hot. We decided just to not say anything the second time. The broccoli casserole was good, also not hot. When we asked for to go boxes to bring home the leftovers, as they were brought to the table, the waitress dropped the boxes on the floor, then was going to hand them to us. I asked for new ones. First rule of food service, if it touches the floor, its thrown out. On the plus side, the soups were good. All in all a negative experience. We will not go back.

The Naked Egg Taco!! Curiosity finally got the best of me and I had to try it this disgusting looking taco shaped egg taco. So lets taco bout it. Service was as good as drive through service gets, fast, polite, and I wasnt missing anything (I only ordered one thing). The egg taco was cooked or microwaved to perfection. The inside was filled with potatoes, bacon, cheddar, and nacho cheese. I looked at it and thought to myself ,well this is different. Judge away but I enjoyed it start to finish 🙂 Taco Bell nacho worst idea.

Our group got together tonight at The Source for our monthly gathering. They are my all time favorite place for cheese curds, and my friends I shared them with will now agree. I had the petite filet (perfectly cooked) with roasted fingerling potatoes and roasted beans and asparagus. Everything was excellent, and the rest of the group seemed very pleased with their orders as well. Service was good, and for the 9 of us, she kept up pretty well 🙂 sorry no pictures, I was concentrating on my meal 🙂
