Dumb SEO Question: I have a client whos got multiple websites built for Tours They are all somewhat different but in the end are offering the same thing just worded differently I feel like she should focus on one domain and promote rank that one rather than competing with her other domains and trying to rank all of them at once. What would you guys do? I guess I could tell her to rank all of them and make way more money. But I feel like focusing on one will get her better results as they are going to compete for eachother and may make customers confused.

Hi everyone, I have a quick dumb SEO question: I have two web pages that show the same product but in two different languages, there is no translation of the product name itself so the pages are currently sharing the same h1 product titles, my understanding is it’s never a good idea to have two pages competing for the same keywords so what would be the best solution from an SEO standpoint? Should I be using canonical to only focus on one of them?

My question is… how can we best resolve this mess? The company has been developing a new site forever. They are based in UK and South Africa. For some reason they published the new site on a SA domain already but the UK site is still not published. The majority of the content is identical and they were not aware of duplicate content issues when planning to publish the same site on two domains feeling that if they were in different countries it wouldn’t be an issue. Given timelines and budgets would you advise rewriting the UK site? The goal is that both sites rank in their own countries. How much of a problem is it and would google see it as duplicated if they are not competing in the same search results? Maybe I’m thinking it’s more of a problem than it actually is!
