probaly a silly question my hubby is a 1st time driver and appartenly he burned the clutch in his 05 clio i wasnt there when it happened cost 350 euro to be replaced i went with him to pick it up and we barely made it 10 mins down the road and car just stopped machanic says its the same thing again is that possible he was doing everythying hes supposed to do

My question is, is there a place/website that mechanics can use to rank cars for how easy or hard they are to work on, and that ranks them on the stupidity of the engineers? Weve all had issues where if the engineers had just moved a part 1/4 or put a small indentation in the frame/inner fender/plastic piece, a job could have been done in 20 minutes, but instead you have to pull the motor and use a $300 special socket to remove a simple, wearable part.

Question.. I have a 2010 JEEP PATRIOT Limited 4×2.. no tow package and hitch.. it says I can only tow 1,000lbs max.. I need to tow a boat about 1700lbs.. is there anyway I can add more power to my Jeep to tow without burning my transmission?? Also the hitch at Walmart says it can tow up to 5,000lbs so does that mean I can tow up to 5,000lbs or it still has to be no more than 1,000lbs max?

QUESTION: 1999 tahoe 5.7L vortec vin k automatic 4WD About 8 months ago my transfer case took a crap. So i got one from my local U-PULL IT yard as i could not aford a rebuilt transfer case. I put the transfer case it and besides a really light ticking sound at low speeds of 10mph 0r less the truck drove great. Well today i warmed it up for 5 mins before taking my son to school as its below 20* outside. I got in the truck with my son, made it to the corner of my block, turned the corner and as soon as i turned the corner the truck had no power. It would not go more then 5mph and my rpms were at about 3000 / 3500. So i knew something was wrong. I was about 5 blocks from my house. I turned around to head back home and it seemed that after hold the gas pedal down for a few mins the truck kinds jumped and caught into gear and started to move but i backed off the gas as to not make problems worse. Made it home and parked it. I DID NOT try to see if reverse or any of the other gears besides 1st gear work as i had to get my son to school and was running late. Could the transfer case i got from the junk yard have took a crap on me also, or is this most definetly a TRANSMIASSION issue ? Also last summer my engine light came on for my oxygen sensor ( sensor 2 / bank 2 ) and i replaced the O2 sensor, but the code for it keeps coming back on and wont go away. ( pic for attention )

Got a question again lol. So my truck takes e85, can i put those fuel injection cleaners or such? Never heard if it does anything being its e85 not gas. Input and thoughts on all that?

Question. My car over heated and shut down on me in the highway. I tried cranking it but it wouldnt turn. All of a sudden I lost power to the vehicle. I turn the key and I hear one click on the fuse box under the hood. When I turn the car off and remove the key. My speaker start thumping and my gauge needles start moving up and down on my dashboard. I have to disconnect the battery so it will stop. It is a 04 impala. I recently found so much gravel on my engine and dont know how it got there. Whether someone tried messing my car up. But it was working just fine the other day

I have a question. When it comes to oil grades even though one car specifies that it needs 5W–30 oil would be fine to switch to a 10W–30 or 10W-40 oil regardless if its conventional high mileage synthetic blend or full synthetic if one moves to an area i.e. Hawaii southern Florida the Caribbean etc. where warm weather is a commonality or a semi commonality all year round?

quick question 2005 honda pilot. i took the brake master cylinder off yesterday for a core return. i wound up not getting to the store to puck up the new part. i tried to put it back on and dropped/lost one of the mounting nuts. im about to get the new mc, but i forgot to bring the remaining nut with me. how can i find the right nut to replace the one i dropped? will autozone be able to look it up? im assuming the new mc wont have new ones. any help will be greatly appreciated.
