Went to Stuc s Pizza tonight and what a disappointing experience! My husband and I with our two grandchildren arrived and got on the wait list for a table for 6. We were told it would be about a ten to fifteen minute wait and that was not a problem as we were waiting for the kids parents Twenty minutes later with all of our party there we see a party of six leave and the tables get set for a party of four and the other table set for two! These are people that have all come in after us. We ask why we arent being seated and are told they were waiting for a different table to open up that is more convenient for the server! None of the other large groups were anywhere near being finished with their meal. Who knows how long we would have to wait. We left and went to The Glass Nickel. We were seated right away and had great service and great pizza. So be forewarned, if you have more than four people in your party, you are at their mercy on when they will seat you at Stucs. This is not the first time this happened to us, that is why I decided to post this time.

Sorry in advance for the negative review. Went to Houdinis for lunch today. Ive always loved their dinner, figured lunch would be just as wonderful. I was wrong. Ordered this: Wisconsin Benedict shaved sirloin | sauteed onion & mushroom | spinach | cheddar | two fried eggs | truffle mornay | sourdough | potatoes & toast Asked for no mushrooms, no luck cuz theyre already mixed in with the onions. Came out with runny eggs, I had to send it back cuz I think sunny side up is gross. She said thats how they come unless you specify. In my opinion, if it says fried egg, you should ask how you want it fried, not assume. They remade the eggs, added MORE mornay on top so now I couldnt see if they were done, and everything was way oversalted, including the potatoes. We never got water, and had no idea there was a special because she neglected to tell us that as well. Ill stick to their dinners- lesson learned the hard way :/

I just saw this on line at the Post Crescent. Reader question: I was wondering if you know what is happening with the former Chinese buffet building at the corner of Oneida Street and Calumet? Weve noticed lights on inside and the for lease sign is gone. Yesterday there was a giant dumpster outside. Answer: The building at 1919 S. Oneida Street in Appleton is becoming Emperors Buffet & Grille. The buildings new owners are Shawn Chen and his brother-in-law Long Zhao. Both currently operate other restaurants. Chen has owned the Emperors Buffet in Shawano for more than 10 years. Zhao has operated the Hong Kong Buffet in Escanaba, Michigan for more than 15 years. It is not related to the Hong Kong Buffets in Neenah and Kimberly.

Rt now I am at apple city family restaurant…. The waitress we have is horrible… Never got our drinks, we just ordered 2 minutes later my friend got her food… Not sure if it is even hers. How is that even possible. Im still waiting for mine. She brought something to me that wasnt even what I ordered. She took it back and I am still waiting. Finally got my food. My friend is almost done and she had an omlet, hash browns, raisen toast. I only got a sandwich and fries. Must say though she keeps bringing me cofee… She hasnt asked how our food is….oh and I figured who also was suppose to be getting coffee…. The lady behind me is still waiting for hers. She brought us our bill and asked how everything was. The busser has hickys all over his neck. This is the first time I have been at this restaurant. Not sure if I will be back.
