Market question: What is the market share of Da Vinci Resolve? I must say, I really like the minimal amount of work Ive done in Resolve so far and for my work (web content, corporate / nonprofit work), Im considering investing more time in learning Resolve. But for cross-market purposes, I dont see the growth, certainly not with respect to Premiere and FCP. Id love to hear input from everyone as to what they see and project for Resolve beyond its color correction capabilities.

Premiere question title tool question. Say you got a bunch of subtitles and you want to add a drop shadow to all of them. You get it how you want on one title – now to make the change on all the rest of them. How?

Editing with a big script question. How do you do with the script digitally? I really don’t want to print 40-200 pages every time I edit a project and waste a lot of paper… I like to make notes, mark done each scene and highlight character names to avoid confusion on dialogue order for me etc. This post won’t let me do a poll

HELP! Its not often somebody will post here suffering from writers block but theres a first time for everything. I have been asked to write a short article on how a client, not experienced with the protocols of editing and post-production, can get the best results for their project working with the editor and other post-production people. The article is aimed at people working in the marketing department of a company (or similar) where somebody has been tasked with overseeing a corporate video. What would be some of your suggestions for working with an editor and/or producer? Many thanks.

Hi All! Question about specs for rendering for an SVGA projector. It’s an epson VS250. Given this info, what are your thoughts on render size (and codec)? Is there a premiere preset that would work well for this? The footage is 1920×1080, and I want to make sure nothing gets cut off. Im also assuming I should deliver SD and not HD, which makes me very happy, given it’s a 45 min video. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank yoU! 🙂

Premiere Pro CC question; I have a 3 camera setup for an interview and I am creating a multi-cam clip. Unfortunately the Cam C operator turns his camera on and off. I cant figure out how I can create a sync point or if it is even possible to do without manually going in and putting the C camera in the sequence. Anyone have an idea how to sync all three or have dealt with this before? Thanks in advance.
