I got a question I have a 2000 Ford Expedition in the air conditioner worked fine yesterday and now today when I started it turn the air on it would only blow through the vents at the front windshield for like defrost no matter what I did I couldnt get it to blow out the normal vents towards you what could be wrong

Ben Otto: Blend doors arent working. Actuators could be bad, or they are broken off from the actuator. Most common is one of the actuators is bad.

Ben Otto: It could also be the switch in the dash. I havent heard of it hardly at all, except on Mazdas.

Jay Smith: Look for a broken vacuum line in engine compartment passenger side near firewall. Default position when vacuum is lost is defrost to keep windshield clear.
