Question. My car over heated and shut down on me in the highway. I tried cranking it but it wouldnt turn. All of a sudden I lost power to the vehicle. I turn the key and I hear one click on the fuse box under the hood. When I turn the car off and remove the key. My speaker start thumping and my gauge needles start moving up and down on my dashboard. I have to disconnect the battery so it will stop. It is a 04 impala. I recently found so much gravel on my engine and dont know how it got there. Whether someone tried messing my car up. But it was working just fine the other day
Josh Marxen: Most gravel is limestone, the fine powder dust can get in all kinds of spots and draws water and will set up like concrete which will mess up all kinds of stuff like clogging the air flow through your radiator and shorting out electronics. Your going to need a pro to look at it, compressed air to clean it, water will make it worse and like the sugar in the tank gag someone may have ruined your car. Check your air filter box, if it sucked dust into the motor its probably a goner.
Davine Real: Possible alternator
Davine Real: OK wait.. Check the belt.
